Hello, I am Paris-Rose!
I love creating work that tells a story and is indicative of what I feel the need to create. To invoke emotion and create memories, or simply make someone smile.
I am a traditionally trained artist and am currently expanding my knowledge within the themed entertainment design industry while attending SCAD for my Painting degree.
My Story
I believe my art is not constrained to a simple paint-on-surface process. Rather, all the work I create is an extension of myself and what I want to achieve. Whether that is to make someone laugh, make someone smile, or even make someone cry. I make my art to encourage people to feel something. Emotion is our humanity and it is a fundamental tool in creating for me. The significance of a single smile, a sole emotion, is without comprehensible worth when it is shared.

I generally vary between physical mediums from watercolors and inks to paper that I can turn into 3-D forms. I'm fascinated by the concept of transforming scrap materials into something that can not only be considered art but can gain a new purpose. I've made egg and bacon earrings out of old pennies, a Chinese lantern pendant out of thrown-out metal sheets, and explosion gift boxes out of worn pieces of paper; to name a few. The possibilities are truly without bounds.

I create art pieces, creative concepts, and experiences. I want to create something tangible that can be held, yet promises to be more. I primarily work in traditional art and illustrations. However, I enjoy creating experience-inspired gifts for people who could use a small way to make someone smile. It is not enough for me to be content with something that forever survives within paper, I want it to survive within memory. I don't only create art, I create ways to make people smile. I create memories that do not stop where my paintbrush does but go on to inspire others to make those around them smile too.
